The formal separations of career and hobby, curricular and extracurricular had a great impact on how I looked at art all these years. Recently, I attended a workshop on Indian art and after a long time, I started creating my own artworks. When I finished my first artwork, I felt satisfied to the core of my soul. Then I started working on a few more small and big artworks on my own. Spending long hours creating these artworks gave me immense pleasure. I started connecting with myself and it was a great achievement for me. During this process, I realized that I could reconnect with my true self by creating art. विविध प्रकारच्या कला जोपासणाऱ्या कलाकारांचा आणि कलाप्रेमींचा एक समूह म्हणजे आर्ट लव्हर्स ग्रुप, अर्थात ‘अल्ग-ओ-ऱ्हिदम’तर्फे महिला दिनाच्या निमित्ताने कलाक्षेत्रातील महिलांशी संवाद साधण्यात आला. या महिला कलाकारांच्या कलेबद्दल, त्यांच्या घडण्याच्या आणि घडवण्याच्या प्रवासाबद्दल जाणून घेऊया या मुलाखतींच्या मालिकेतून… आजच्या कलाकार आहेत, ‘क्ले कल्ट’ या नावाने टेराकोटा दागिन्यांवर काम करणाऱ्या ललिता भोयर. बदलापूर, ठाणे येथे राहणाऱ्या ललिता भोयर कन्टेन्ट रायटींग, स्क्रीन प्ले रायटींग अशी कामे करतात. पण टेराकोटा माध्यमामध्ये त्या करत असलेल्या एका वेगळ्या प्रकारच्या कामाबद्दल जाणून घेऊया आजच्या या मुलाखतीतून. प्रश्न: ‘टेराकोटा ज्वेलरी’ या कला प्रकारामध्ये कामाची सुरुवात कशी झाली? ललिता: चार-पाच वर्षांपूर्वी माझे सासरे गणपती बनवायच्या एका वर्कशॉपमध्ये भाग घ्यायला गेले होते. तिथं त्यांनी गणपतीची एक अतिशय सुंदर मूर्ती बनवली. ती मला खूप आवडली. ते मला म्हणाले, तू बनवू शकशील, ट्राय कर. मी विचार केला, ट्राय करायला काय हरकत आहे? पण त्यानंतर एक-दोन वर्षे अशीच गेली. आपल्याला असं काही करायला जमलं नाही तर...
